Strolling toward the Sample Gates at Indiana University I couldn’t help but notice the spread of diverse restaurants I passed walking up Fourth Street. With just a semester left of school I was surprised at how many restaurants in Bloomington I failed to visit up to this point in my undergraduate career. I always love trying new things, especially when it comes to food, so I thought I would challenge myself to move out of my comfort zone and to explore the cuisines Bloomington had to offer before the opportunity slipped away from me.
Though I have about 108 days left of school while I’m writing this entry, “Around the World in 108 Days” didn’t have quite the same ring to it, so I apologize for my misnomer of a blog title. I hope if you come across this blog chronicling my Bloomington culinary quest for delectable dishes you find some inspiration to do your own exploration in the realm of dining, because I truly believe it never hurts to try something new.
